Our Story
The Ministry of Textiles, India initiated a Scheme for Integrated Textile Industrial Park in 2005 to uplift Micro, Small Textile Enterprises and development of the area via job creations.
The Micro, Small & Medium Textile Entrepreneurs of Komarapalayam joined together to create KHWP in 2007.
The idea was to setup all Textile Operations within the Industrial Park and integrate operations to achieve efficient economies of scale and improve delivery times.
KHWP offered it’s Investors & Entrepreneurs a Plug & Operate Model to setup their enterprises in par with Global Standards that was granted by the Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi & also partly subsidised by Ministry for Handlooms of Tamil Nadu.
KHWP covers 30.5 areas of land with 56 Factory Sheds that is currently operated by 22 SMEs with Socio-economic Development Impact by employing 1000+ Weaves & Spinners & other indirect employment livelihoods.
KHWP has 100% occupancy rate of it’s factories. Fulfilled our National Aim to uplift SMEs & created a cluster for economic development & social upliftment.
Now, under the Vision of our Chairman, fully backed by its Board Members & Investors, KHWP + is now moving forward to cater to Global Textile SMEs.
